ABOUT
Marta Gozdzik (she/her), RN, psychotherapist, RP (Qualifying), MA
I began studying psychology about 20 years ago. After completing an undergrad in psychology, I completed a nursing degree and began to work as a mental health nurse in paediatric inpatient and adult post-secondary settings. I wanted to strengthen my psychotherapy skills and returned to school to complete a graduate degree in counselling psychology. I am registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (11689) and the College of Nurses of Ontario (09400249). I have training in DBT and trauma counselling and support. I am passionate about mental health recovery and provide trauma-informed psychotherapy services from cognitive and behavioural, attachment-focused, and person centered approaches.
I identify as a Polish, queer, cisgender female.
I grew up in Toronto and currently live with my partner, daughter, and dogs in Durham Region.
